Digital mammography system based on a digital flat panel wide-format scintillating pixel CMOS detector allows to conduct all kinds of mammography examinations including the technology of digital tomosynthesis which makes it possible to improve the visualization of the objects by creating three-dimensional images of the breast and greatly expand the understanding of pathological changes in the mammary gland, clarify their characteristics, reveal new details and thereby increase the accuracy of diagnosis.
