At the beginning of October 2019, the third stage of R & D on the topic “Development of large-format high-resolution X-ray detectors with high radiation resistance, and the development of their production technology” was successfully completed under the STC-MT agreement with the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Fund for the Promotion of small enterprises development in the Scientific and Technical Field".
In the course of the work on the third stage of R & D, the following results were obtained:
- Prototype samples of tiles were made. Methods for controlling the size and alignment of the tile have been developed.
- Studies of the technical characteristics of prototype tiles were conducted:
contrast sensitivity, spatial resolution, radiation resistance.
A technique for the output control of a tile is developed. - The microprograms of the detector were developed.
- The engineering software of the detector was developed.
- A prototype of the detector was made.
The tasks of the third stage of R&D were solved completely, in accordance with the schedule and allowed to proceed to the work of the final fourth stage.
