On July 20, 2018 company STC-MT opened its doors to all comers within the framework of "A Day without Turnstiles" city event, organized by the Department of Science, Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship of Moscow.
Two excursions were conducted on Friday, July 20 at the territory of the technopark "Leader", within the walls of which the company is located. Employees of the scientific and technical center told and demonstrated to the participants of the excursion the technological process of high-tech x-ray equipment development.
In particular, the guests of the company were able to observe the work of specialists in the Clean Room, to get acquainted with new developments in the field of radiology, to see the company from the inside, its structure, departments, laboratories, staff and functions performed by the company's employees. The capabilities of the testing equipment were demonstrated to the company's guests during the excursion, as well as the principles of operation of some of the developed products: a mammograph, a mobile X-ray machine and a universal X-ray stand.
One of the memorable moments for the participants of the excursion was the acquaintance with two STC-MT’s “super-employees”, which help the staff of the scientific and technical center to test the latest equipment in the development process. This is a phantom of an adult and a child. With their participation, the guests were shown a full X-ray examination. The participants of the excursion, being in universal X-ray protective boxes, could feel themselves as X-ray lab technicians and conduct a real X-ray study, independently using X-ray equipment under the supervision of the company's employees. In memory of a pleasant acquaintance with the phantoms, all participants of the excursion received a unique photo with phantoms, made on X-ray film.
For full immersion in the character of a specialist of high-tech enterprise, the company's guests were given the opportunity to dine with the company's employees.
On July 24, a press conference was held dedicated to the results of the action "A Day Without Turnstiles", headed by Alexei A. Fursin, Head of the Department of Science, Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship of Moscow. During the press conference it was noted that this event is a vocational guidance program for young people and a good opportunity for organizations to replenish the human resource.
