The mammography system performs a full-format raster mammography (with the use of screening grid), targeted images, enlarged shooting, the underarm radiography, biopsy examinations, multi-energy mode and multislice linear tomography mode (tomosynthesis).
The mammography system constructively consists of the following main units:
- stand with a rotating C-arm, on which the X-ray emitter and X-ray detector are installed;
- acquisition workstation, providing mammography control, receiving, processing and saving the images.
The system allows to conduct examinations in four modes:
- screening mode;
- tomosynthesis mode;
- enlarged shooting mode;
- biopsy examinations using Bym 3D DBT device.
